It is no small wonder then, that the ‘Massive’

sturdy full 14 cm diameter pickets
4 cm thick rails are sleeved through the picket, to
provide a very solid joint without nails or screws.
this joint prevents the rails from being pushed off
the posts whilst enabling the horses to graze on either
side of the fencing.
all pickets are milled and the rails are polish-planed.
This type of finish serves to avoid splinters, allowing
for people and animals not to injure themselves.
the wood used for the ‘Massive’ fencing
is creosoted, which serves to considerably extend its
lifespan as well as to discourage horses from sinking
their teeth into the fencing.
